Occasionally we get involved in projects for causes we feel need a little extra support.

The most recent of these are AVAWorld and strays of Abu Dhabi.

AVA World

AVA is an acromym for A Voice for Animals

In October of 2009 we were invited to attend the Miss AVA 2009 Gala Dinner in Dubai, Radhika Chandran was voted in as Miss AVA 2009 at the prestigious Grand Hyatt Hotel in Dubai.

Radhika is passionate about animal welfare and has grand plans to form an organisation starting in the UAE to promote animal welfare, awareness of the plight of abandoned animals in the UAE and generally to educate the children/population of the UAE the importance of having respect for animals.

We were happy to offer our services to help Radhika promote AVA and hope that she gains a huge following of UAE animal lovers, if you think you could help her or would like to volunteer please contact us and we will pass your details along to Radhika.

Strays Of Abu Dhabi

In March last year my partner and I decided that we needed a furry addition to our home, we found Annie and her sisters from Strays of Abu Dhabi and became good friends with the organisers of this truly worthwhile charity.

Their website was OK, but basic and had little in the way of interactivity for it's visitors so we volunteered to build and host a new site for them.

The site design and CMS system was by us and the content, with a few helpful pointers is down to the volunteers of SAD, we are hopeful that the new site will help the SAD team save more abandoned animals from Abu Dhabi and any donations or volunteeer work no matter how small are gratefully received by them.
